The Mojector works as a 35mm slide projector when you attach a flash and your favorite Canon (standard) or Nikon ($25 adapter needed) lens. Drop in one of our creative slides, focus the lens on the background, and now you can capture cool effects right in camera!

Best Practices
While the Mojector works with any Canon or Nikon (with adapter) mount lens and any speedlight-type flash with a standard-size fresnel head, we have found that it s best to use wide angle lenses than can be manually focused to achieve the best results. Michael uses an old manual focus Canon-mount 24mm Sigma for his Mojector. We also recommend using an AD200 with the fresnel head attached to give you the most power options, especially when using a dark or color-rich slide. Also, be careful to not fire machine gun style as the heat from the flash head could damage the slide.
You can use the Mojector to cast an image on virtually any type of background. We have had the best results when using white sweeps or paper, gray, and black. For Michael s Geometric Collection plain white works the best. But don t be afraid to experiment and try out your own combinations!
